Beautiful vintage winter white petticoat circa the 1940s or 1950s. Its made of a stiffened gauze with a cotton waistband and each tier has stiff belt backing inside it to give it lift and shapes ( think like old hoops skirts kinda). Two hook and eyes at the waistband. Very Victorian in look. No designer label but the belt backing is marked with Bro Cell belt Backing from Good Housekeeping. Probably a small to medium size.

Excellent to good vintage condition. There's a bit of foxing on the cotton waistband and the gaue has areas of scattered little hoes, see photos for examples. Doesn't seem to be threatening its stability or use though.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 26"
Hip: loose
Waist to bottom hem: about 42"
